Dr. Schleicher brings three decades of experience in the field of dermatology. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Rutgers University where he was named a Henry Rutgers Scholar, received his medical degree with academic honors from the Drexel/Hahnemann Medical College, and completed his dermatology residency at the Temple Skin and Cancer Hospital. The author of three books and over five hundred medical journal case reports, Dr. Schleicher served for 10 years on the advisory board of the Day Spa Association and the editorial board of the journal Emergency Medicine. He co-hosted the radio call-in show Speaking of Your Skin and currently co-hosts the cable television show, Skin Sense (ssptv.com).
Founder and director of the DermDox Dermatology Centers (dermdoxcenters.com), Dr. Schleicher has served as a principal investigator for over 50 phase I-IV clinical trials and currently co-directs Best Skin Research located in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania (bestskinresearch.com). He is a past ComputerWorld Honors Laureate and recipient of the Outstanding Specialty Provider award by the nonprofit Volunteers in Medicine. In 2024 he was elected to the international research honor society Signa Xi. Dr. Schleicher is an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at the Geisinger Commonwealth Medical College and a clinical instructor of dermatology at Kings College and Arcadia University.
